Help with Word Wrap 

This may have a very simple solution but I am clearly missing it. I have a lot of text in a large cell and Word Wrap enabled. After a certain point, the text does not wrap any more and is cut off, but still there. Is there a limit to the Word Wrap on how many characters are wrapped? Or am I doing something wrong? Using Excel 2003.
