Please let me know the way to find out exact range lookup value from a list of similar value

Hi,

Enter the following array formula in cell B2

=VLOOKUP(SUBSTITUTE(A2,"*","^*"),SUBSTITUTE($C$2:$D$4,"*","^*"),2,0)

Hi,

You are welcome.  In the VLOOKUP() formula, i have substituted the * symbol with the ^* symbols.  This has then been passed to an array.
