I downloaded visual studio 2010 beta 1 from MS,and tried to run it on Windows 7,it worked fine before I installed MS Office 2010 but after installing office 2010 I am getting the error as "Cannot create the Window" in visual studio and now I am not able to run it,so definitely some plugin or so from MS Office 2010 is interfering with Visual Studio 2010 beta and causing this problem.

Ankur install .Net Framework again and then re-run the application....

and since both of these products are beta i believe they are not very much compatible with each other.

Have installed it on another laptop also but still getting the same error and yes both are in early beta stage,still it has to be fixed as both of the products are used most frequently and now I have to dual boot and have installed visual studio on windows vista using MS Office 2007

I'm using VSTS 2010 B1 since it introduced. As O2010 came... I installed 02010 on Windows 7 64bit and 32bit as well. But It doesn't stuck any error like you mentioned.

It may be something else.

Okie I searched and found this stuff at connect - http://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/feedback/ViewFeedback.aspx?FeedbackID=475554 so I am pretty sure it's because of Office 2010 only. because it worked fine before I installed MS Office 2010 but after installation I got the following screen-
