It's only recently that I noticed that the folders don't get sort by size, only files can be sort in that way. Is this a bug or something?

Folders have multiple layers of folders inside them which have files, so collating them and then arranging them is not feasible. For example, when you check the properties of your Windows folder, have a look at the time it takes to calculate the size of the folder, now doing this for Program Files; Users etc. one can well imagine the time that would take. As far as you want it is concerned, you're a MVP go talk to MS directly. :)

Yeah, I am already doing that. Thanks for the tip   I just calculated that it takes about 6 and 4 seconds respectively for the Windows and Program Files to show the size in my laptop This can even be faster in quad cores with 4 gb ram and slower in other computers. But it should be a choice!
