wondering why is it so?
hello guys , going to ask a typical question..........my pc config is asus m2n-vm dh mobo with nvidia geforce 6100 chipset, amd 4200+ pro, 4x 1gb ddr2 667 mhz kingston ram, 2x 80 gb sata , 1 250 gb sata hdd seagate, 1 dvd writer, but the prblem is that my friends pc having amd 2800+, 512 mb ram, asus k8v-x mobo performs better than mine in tasks like copying, moving files and while working in explorer it opens files and folders quickly as compared to mine......can anyone help this out?.....quite an awkward question na?

well, there may be a possibility of virus or spyware infection. Man, you have 4GB of RAM , I don't think the inbuilt graphics of the motherboard matches up to it. You should get a newer motherboard, or just add a 8 series graphics card from nvidia into it, if there is a pci-e slot.
