My SeaGate ST380011A (80Gb) was Working a Few Hours Ago, it was Almost Full, I Have a Lot of Work & Time Invested in that HD, I Think it's The Motor.

I've Used it for more than a Year, and it was Expensive at The Time, I Chose SeaGate because it was Supposed to be a Good Brand, I Installed The SeaTools a Few Weeks Ago, but The Only Thing it Tells me it's that The Test Failed.

Could I Recover My Data?

Hi CamaroSS

Welcome to the forum. Regarding to your problem seems like its a hardware problem. If its a h/w problem, then you can't do anything. Give the Hard disk to service center and they'll fix the problem but there will be very less chances to get data back.

If its not a h/w problem, then you can try Partition Magic. It can fix small HDD errors. Also try to attach your HDD in other systems and check whether you are able to access the drives or not.

Hi dear...........
warm welcome to merawindows :)

Regarding your problem..it looks like hardware issue. So, you cant do anything regarding this. But as you have mention, it is only 1 and half yr old.So, it is under gurantee. So, get your hard disk replaced at seagate service center.

And regarding recovery.Yes, you can recover your hard disk data.
