Have you ever wondered why Explorer Windows don’t show titles in Windows Vista? In earlier versions of Windows, we could see titlebar text in explorer windows but it has been removed in Vista.

No one knows the reason and many ppl want to enable it in Vista. It was removed most probably bcoz it doesnt look good in new glass interface and you can see the path in new Vista addressbar breadcrumbs.

Now no need to worry. There is an utility "AeroBar" which can enable titlebar text in Vista explorer windows.

Just install this utility from here:

Download Link

Run it and you have done. Now every window will show titles. No need to install. If you like it and want to use it, then you can add its shortcut in Windows startup.

To remove it, simply End task "Aerobar.exe" from Task Manager.

They shoudln't have left out what people want to use. I am sure because of the "breadcrumbs" they thought they didn't need it but with multiple windows cascaded not all windows have titles. Notepad, whichever internet browser you use, and cmd have them still though. I find breadcrumb svery useful for easy navigation in the current window. Although flip 3d and alt+tab have been great so, i have no complaints. Just one thing Microsoft could have left or made a toggle checkbox. Of course, then intelligent folks such as the creator of this application would not be able to save the day over and over.

^^ Could not agree more. Thats fine that you have added more new features but there should be a choice available to interchange between them like they did in XP to interchange between Classic as well New startmenu. Lots of ppl including me miss the XP Start menu and Classic Toolbar in Explorer.

with great people such yourself and others i have seen here we are not left alone in the woods

this application along with the VGtheme you created Vishal is a very beautiful Windows look.  I agree with you on the start menu as it is no longer scalable according to the amount of content in the program windowpane instead you get a static size until you reach it's limit then it gets larger.  I used to love the minimal start menu in XP and had most programs i need on the quicklaunch or desktop as icons.

I grew up with windows and certain things just belong.  It is like driving a manual car and not find the clutch.  Instead of a clutch you have button on the shifter and only two directons to shift.  It might be simpler require less to do but the feel of the drive or experience is not the same.
