You can make it so that the colors of your Vista's window change from say red to pink to blue and so on over a period of time. You can even set it so, in a laptop, to warn you about the state of your battery life. For instance when available battery is 90%+ pick Green, when less than 10%, red, and so on. The change in color will occur automatically.

To do so, download and run this nifty application called Vista Color Transform and run it. I have tried it and it runs nicely. Doesn't require an install. More for fun, actually !

Yep. I have used it in past. Looks cool in start but After using it for a few time, I found it kinda annoying.

You are right Vishal ! Most of this type of apps creates problem in Vista....such 3D start picture, Longhorn Notification ballon tip enhancement.

All these apps hook explorer.exe APIs. but creates some memory reference error during shutdown.
