A nice trick I came across which’ll enable you to manually change your WEI Score !
Follow these instructions :
1. Go to folder “C:\Windows\Performance\WinSAT\DataStore\”
2. In there you will see a file called something like 2007-08-28 23.31.28.374 Assessment.WinSAT.xml where the format is YYYY-MM-DD HH.MM.SS.XXX Assessment.WinSAT.xml. You may also have a file YYYY-MM-DD HH.MM.SS.XXX Assessment (Initial).WinSAT.xml if you have a new PC.
3. To open the file you can use a tool like XML Notepad 2007 or simply open it in Wordpad.
4. Now you can modify your scores, by changing the following values in the file :

5. Thats it ! Save the File now ! (Make sure you make a backup before making any changes to it)
Note that for now the Maximum WEI Score any machine can achieve is 5.9. Further benchmark score should be updated in future Vista Updates :) But with this trick you can very well bypass than and put in your own values
Sorry if a re-post, I didnt find this tip using the forum search atleast
