I'll must say you guys hv got awesome desktops. 
Keep posting them. 
NOTE: I have seen many members having problems in posting screenshot thumbnails. So you guys can simply post the Image URL here instead of the thumbnail.

I used
1.Window Blinds v5.10
2.Microsoft plus! dancer LE
3.Yahoo! widgets
4.Animated desktop (using Bubbles screen saver of Vista)
The transparent bubbles move around the whole screen.
All the interface is translucent
The Dancer LE dances.

Click on "Source" button given at the start of toolbar in Add Post page and then post the HTML code. Otherwise you can simply post the Direct URL of image.

Wow so many beautiful desktops...
but i suggest just change rules to...
No customization s/w allowed
This contest is to see th creativity of user not the creativity of third party tool like Windows Blinds or talisman
Even with those anyone can make beautiful desktops.

^^ nah. Those software are good and most of the ppl use them and if we are organizing desktop competition, then they are must have software.

I have been out for a long time. I am really sorry that I haven't been able to contribute all these days, but I hope you guys remember me  Actually, I have many exams coming up ( CAT,MAT,IIFT) and even my 5th semester exams. And on the top of that my cousin who is an army engineer is back from Siachen with his fiance who is an Kingfisher airhostess. So I am really in a bad spot right now  But anyways here is my screenshot!

Then vishal tell me where is the creativity part
its now just a compitiotion of finding best windows theme over internet for some s/w like windows blind or talisman.Just apply that theme and post your desktop.
I am sorry but i wanna be out of such compitition.

The creativity comes in how you decorate your desktop? You can't win a competition by simply applying 3rd party themes. You need to be creative. You need to use themes, docks, etc. to make your desktop special and different from others.
If a desktop looks cool by using themes, windowblinds, etc then whats harm? Its hard work and creativity of the user who used those utilities in such a way that his desktop looks so cool. Just my 2 cents...

I am not fighting with you buddy on this topic.
But frankly speaking see most of nominations there.I have seen only direct theme + wallpaper and posted...
nothing else...
