i tried to post in the early morning with opera but the mesage window would not go ahead and post the reply. i tried it alleast more than a couple of times. at the end it would show only the last post..

is it because of the incompatibility with opera?

Yep. Opera, Safari and Firefox 3 Alphas hv some problems with Java Scripts and thats why they are not fully compatible with MW. But the "Basic text Editor" works. You can post using it.
