MeraWindows Forums - Get your Computer Problems Fixed

This is a site run by the community - for the community. At the site, we share and contribute our computer learnings with each other. Dear members

A Very Happy Diwali to you. Thanks for your support and contribution at MeraWindows.

We are excited to announce a new contest - "Desktop Competition" on this joyous occasion. To participate in the contest you have to simply post the screenshot of your current Windows Desktop. The member with the best looking desktop will win the competition.

How to Participate?

1. Take the screenshot of your Windows Desktop and upload the file at any image uploading website like following:

http://spaces.live.com/

http://skydrive.live.com

http://www.flickr.com/

http://imageshack.us/

http://www.photobucket.com/

2. You'll get the code to post in forums / sites. Use HTML coding to post the screenshot here. Click on "Reply" button in this topic and then click on "Source" button given in toolbar in "Add/Edit Post" page. If you face any problem, post the direct URL of the image.

And like all cool contests here are some guidelines to follow:

1. Only authentic screenshots from your Windows desktop should be posted. We strongly discourage plagiarism.

2. A member can post any number of screenshots.

3. Desktop screenshots containing nudity, explicit material, pornography will be removed without any notification and the member will not be eligible for the competition.

4. The participant needs to have a minimum of 10 posts on merawindows.com forums by end of the contest to be eligible for award of prize.

The competition will run for a month and will end on "20 December 2007" (UPDATED).

Prizes:

Winners will get cool prizes which is a secret at the moment.

So don't wait. Participate in the contest now. May the best desktop win!

I am a developer.

May be you would not like my desktop :) but this is how world of a developer goes like!
My machine is dual core 2.5 GHz each, 4 GB RAM and 512 MB graphics card.. life is still painful sometimes!! :)
