Vista x64 sp1 gives error on installing

hi guys, today i downloaded windows vista x64 sp1 from microsoft but when i tried to install it gave me this error:

"An error occurredwhile installing the service pack.

Error code: 0x800700d. "

help needed.

this is an activation problem...i would advise u 2 contact their customer service and talk abt the issue so that u may get ur vista activated..
