I would like to say one thing never buy Windows Vista Home basic it doesn't have any features at all,instead of buying it just go for Windows Xp and add some Windows Vista theme it would be good enough,if anyone wants to try Windows Vista then atleast go for Windows Vista home Premium.

IMO, Vista Basic and XP with Vista theme is not the same thing. You cannot have the improved search capabilities and the security of Vista Basic in XP.

i am totally agree with soumya !

Windows Vista basic has more functionalities, that is not available in Xp.

still vista home basic is not as kool ...ultimate is the prefect one...
