Hey Guys, Actually this tip is for Windows Vista, but I could'nt find any proper sub-forum to post it.
Please move this thread, if this is not meant to be here.
If you're nervous of the consequences of disabling UAC, but want to avoid all the nagging prompts and keyboard shortcuts that leaving it enabled can entail, there's a better way. You can convince windows that you are actually the one true admin with a simple command.
To enable full administrative privileges with a normal Vista user account:
Open an administrative command prompt
To do that, type the name in the 'Start' menu searchbar, here in our case, it's cmd or command prompt. Then right click on the program and select 'Run as Administrator'
Finally, type 'net user administrator activate:yes' and hit enter.
Woot! your done!
