is this the last of the rc1 releases? shud we expect more of testing or the golden version is finally here?

No,I don,t think so because according to amazon the Vista will be available around January 30,2006

"The RC2 build is 5743, and Microsoft is currently testing it internally. As with the previous interim build, 5728, RC2 will be given out to beta testers, MSDN and TechNet subscribers, and a random, limited selection of Consumer Preview Program (CPP) members........... Here Comes Windows Vista RC2

Now its being said RC2 is having build no 5744:

"A Customer Preview Program download page has been discovered for the second and last release candidate for Windows Vista before it hits RTM. The build is, according to the page, slated to be numbered as 5744.061003-1945. ........."
