How do I enable CTRL + ALT + DELETE in Windows Vista? 

Did you like using the CTRL - ALT - DELETE combination key prior to Windows Vista? If so, you can bring it back. Here is how.

Click the Start button and type netplwiz as shown in Figure A.

Click the Advanced tab and tick the Require user to press Ctrl + Alt + Delete.

There is another way of doing that also:

1. Type following command in Run Dialog Box or in Start Search bar:

control userpasswords2

 

It will work as same as you said.

You can simply use Ctrl Shift Esc as a replacement to the Ctrl Alt Del Combo....
