This method also works, but it is much safer for people to use EasyBCD which is a GUI based simpler boot manager. It has a restore and backup option too. But, if I am not wrong once you install XP, it will over take your boot loader and you will need to retore your mbr from a Vista bootbale.

It's a Microsoft world kid, I am just living in it.
