Visual Studio And Vista 
Visual Studio .NET 2002 and 2003 will not be supported on Vista.
VB 6 will be supported.
Visual Studio .NET 2005 will be supported but with compatibility issues and recently SP1 has been released which will fix these issues or not is not definite , So something beyond SP1 has to be done.
But what will happen to .NET 1.1 applications ? There are so many 1.1  applications.

Has anybody tried VS.NET2k2 or 2k3 or 2k5 on Vista RC1?

How can vista support the older version VS6 and not the recent ones like VS 2005

that sounds really strange. Microsoft should makeup something for this soon to help the developers tryout their skill on this super os
