New Vulnerability has been found in Windows XP

Name: Windows

Type: Vulnerability

This is detected with the name "Windows". Windows is the name for lowered security settings caused by an unknown or previous malware infection. It may be so that the malware infection was previously removed but left the lowered security settings behind.

One example is when the option to install unsigned ActiveX controls in Internet Explorer has been set to enable, thus allowing dangerous or malicious third party ActiveX controls to be silently installed.

BE AWARE before installing any ActiveX controls!
