do i try un installing IE altogether and then re install it..

is it possible? to re install IE6 for that matter

Since IE is tightly integrated in Windows, its not possible to completely uninstall it.

so, i will have to make do with a version IE6 but with version 8 i.e. IE8 inteface. i cant even install version 7, cause it recognisex the version 6 as version 8..
