which SMPS to go for? 
hello...i also want to replace my current 300 W SMPS.....i hav Asus 500 W with four sata cables in my area....shud i go with this one?.....also suggest me a cabinet..

the asus 500w should do the job. regarding cabinet, well just make sure that it has proper ventilation and required number of fans and also enough space to fit your hardware. iball is good, but if u want to spend some money, you can go for antec.

Yes. Asus SMPS will be fine and iBall cabinets are really great. You can go for it.

U can have a look at Zebronic SMPS also.

Always prefer high watt SMPS, like 500-600 watt ..for future proff.

Also must check fan smoothness before you buy any SMPS.And Dont worry abt SATA power cables..U cant buy a SATA power convertor for RS. 10 only...and I think it is required only for SATA hard disk.
