INTEL or AMD for vista? 
the thought just came to my mind while reading the ATI certi. part:
wud vista run fine/smoothly on both intel and amd processors or is there any recomm. here?
for eg. for some games it's recomm. to play on ATI or nVidia card for BEST performance!
will this be the case for vista too?
same goes for XP! does it run better on AMD or INTEL?

does microsoft test the OS on INTEL/AMD motherboards or do they have their own ver. of motherboard?

Take this sample :
                 
                         At Present, Best 64-bit processor is avilable only from AMD. Vista runs well on AMD.
         - But, ATI - AMD is not compatible (i.e., NO Better Performance)
         - nVidia can !
         - Vista 64-bit versions works well on AMD's ...

So, Choosing AMD is the Best Choice...

Intel and AMD both are good motherboards and Vista will smoothly run on them.

wel guyz  daz one's choice... but still  intel  boards ha sshown better perspectives relating to vista,

n more over intel is famous among masses rather then amd..

Intel is more friendly when Vista matters.This is from my personal exp.
