Lighthouse Interactive has just announced that they will come out with an add-on for their “Sword of the Stars” strategy game. Called “Sword of the Stars: Born of Blood”, this add-on will unleash a new alien race, a new form of strategic movement, new ship sections, new ship weapons, new weapons, new technology, new scenarios and new unknown menaces.
The original game “Sword of the Stars” was released in August 2006, but the add-on “Sword of the Stars: Born of Blood” is slated to release in May 2007. The add-on will require the original game to run.
According to Lighthouse Interactive, CEO, Erik Schreuder, “Developer Kerberos are in the middle of the final phase of development and are preparing for a best test, the outcome of which will determine a final release date. Right now it looks very much like the middle or end of May for fans willing to buy .
