Samsung doesn't rest and here it is, presenting to us a new device to be included in our holiday shopping list. The i7110, codename “Pilot,” is said to hit Russia first, and then most European countries this December. With all that, this device has already created some agitation among fans.
Designed as a Quadband GSM/EDGE phone, it comes equipped with 3G HSDPA connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS support. Running on the Symbian S60 platform, it also features a 5 Megapixel autofocus, LED flash camera, and a secondary front camera. In addition, the GPS system can be used either when by car using a built-in Fm transmitter or when by foot using the handset. The internal memory of only 50MB is not very useful on its own, but completed with the up to 16GB expandable memory through the microSDHC card slot, new opportunities will emerge.
