Windows MCE 2005 - ATI RADEON 7500 Drivers Problem



I have ATI RADEON 7500 AGP (Powered by ATI). I download and install the Latest drivers from ATI Drivers section. But Windows Media Center displays " This Decoder is not Compatible "

Then the MCE collapses suddenly...

But ATI support says " This AGP supports Microsoft MCE 2005 " !

My System details : ASUS K8V-MX            m/b
                           AMD Athlon (64-bit)    processor
                           ATI RADEON 7500 AGP card
                           768 MB RAM

Any Advice ?

If it happened after the driver update then you can easily roll back the driver.

Use this utility to check the decoder:-

My System Is Running on MCE 2004 !
I installed the " ATI drivers (latest version 6.5 - RADEON 7500 for MCE 2005 )
But, my present version is MCE 2004. There only MCE present, No Year Present. After successful installing, I click the Media Center icon. Then It Displays " Your Video Card or Drivers not compatible with Media Center".

Any Advice ?

Please select your operating system, product family and the product and then select GO.
