Hi

welcome to the forum. Actually every windwos OS is secure, u just need some common sense and good anti-virus and firewall software.

  • Don't visit warez and p0rn sites.
  • Don't click on pop-up ads in web pages.
  • Use a good anti-virus software, like NOD32, AVG, avast!, kaspersky.
  • Use goof firewall, like Zone Alarm Free edition.

After following these tips, u can make a good secure system.

If u need any kind of help, then feel free to post in forum.

Windows XP pro. Its better than 2000, contains lots of advanced features and very user friendly.
