Hi ! valuable ppl... i would like to have your opinion abt an strange start up .exe file propagating in my network to where i work.

The file's name is GAMESETUP.EXE  It automatically launch : sol.exe, pinball, spider ... etc. ( but recently cal.exe and paint.exe) hmmm not just game!!!

THINGS I'VE DONE : REMOVAL OF GAMES IN CPL APPLETS ( WINDOWS COMPONENT)  IT LAUNCHES STILL

ACTION : THERE'S A SHARED FOLDER MAP TO THESE PC ... I'VE SCAN THE FOLDER AND REMOVE GAMESETUP.EXE

                   DISABLE UNUSED SERVICES AND STARTUP PROG IN MSCONFIG

                   DENY PERMISSION ON FILE SOL.EXE IN( c:\windows\system32\ )

                   Manually remove autorun.inf and scan with ( avast, mcafee, sysinternal)

Please need some real advice to fight malware script or exe files if known !
