Not sure but according to Wikipedia, Bluray will have its own Java program for the menus etc on the disc and it the contents will be encoded in H.264/MPEG-4.

It's a Microsoft world kid, I am just living in it.

*.bdmv (Movie object or index)

*.m2ts (contains a BDAV MPEG-2 transport stream)

sound.bdmv (stores data relating to one or more sounds associated with HDMV Interactive Graphic streams applications)
its filename is fixed to “sound.bdmv “.

*.clpi (store Clip information associated with a Clip AV stream file)

*.mpls (store information corresponding to Movie PlayLists.)

*.otf (stores the font information associated with Text subtitle applications)
