Restrict the access of hard drive in an easier way.....
Hi friends, you have restricted the accessing of hard drive using "Registry" or "Group Policy Editor".. In this tut, i am telling an another way to restrict the access..
but for that type of restrictions user have need some knowledge of complex Registry and group policy editor.. here is an easier way...
someone may know this .....
step1-Open computer management console using "right click on my computer and then click on manage " . Select "Disk management" from left pane..this willlshow all the disk drives in the computer...
step2-in the right pane select the drive that you want to restrict, for eg."d:\ drive", and right click on it.. select "change drive letter and paths" this will open a new wizard. select "Remove" button. this will confirm the action..after it all is done...you can check that now in the right pane of computer management console, there is not a drive letter against the selected drive..
the selected drive is now not be in the my computer...
no one can open the drive without using computer management console again..not even through address bar
Note-You can not apply this technique to restrict the access of "windows drive" that is in which windows is installed..
I hope you will enjoy with this technique.....
