Where did my disk space goes? 

my C drive property shows 70gb of disk space is used up.  However, I started "Explore All User"; CNTL-A to select all files and folders on the C: drive, (with option to view Hidden files/folder), then right click for property, it only shows 30.1gb.  There is a 40gb discrepency.  Where does it goes?  Can anyone help me with this mystery?

Well, have you tried out disk cleanup? Also you can reduce the size that recycle bin, system restore takes in your hdd or you can delete the hibernation file if you don't want to hibernate. Even the page file takes a big space so make sure it is se to the recommended level.

Ur disc space may be used by Volume Shadow Copy,now U know the main thing just search the net about it and U would find everything about it
