what is wscntfy 

what is wscntfy?

It is Windows Security Center Notification first introduced in introduced in Service Pack 2. It displays ballon tips indicating your current updates, virus protection, and firewall settings.

Location: C:\Windows\System32

General Description

wscntfy.exe is located in the Windows folder, but it is not a Windows core file. The file is not a Windows system file. The application uses ports to connect to LAN or Internet.

how to disable it?

wscntfy.exe can be disabled by going in to "Services" and disabling Security Center (not recommented).

Yeah....nice tip Ritesh ! its annoying most of users by showing, you are the risk. even they know that they have not Internet Connection and there no mean to turn on Automatic Updates....and by turning off, we can say some bytes of RAM.
