Does a dvd writer be shared for writing 

does a dvd writer can b shared from different users which from different machine it should be written from their pc ..i tried it by sharing but it can only b read over the network ..is it possible to write from different machines..by putting the dvd in master pc  and it should be written from some other machine of which the content from that local machine has to be written into the dvd from that place ..all the machines r  in network...if it can be done.. pls give me a solution..thnk u..

Try remote desktop to access it .

Else earlier a s/w called Neronet used to be available, check if its available now.

Be careful as writing over network is error prone if not having a good network.

well nt much info aabt the sharing of optical resources bt 1 thing 4sure..u need a steady and perfect onnection...coz theres athing wth burning...if the buffer over run or under run..then ur burn process halts in middle..so better keep take careof that

Try Padus "Disc Juggler" ...It's reliable software to burn files over network ....
