Hi,

I am currently using WinXP SP3 with the winxp style Start Menu (not the classic Start Menu).

I am trying to add more "Separator Lines" inside the Start Menu. I have searched the net and it seems the only option is to make a dummy file, create a shortcut to it and rename the shortcut to look like a line. However, that style of Separator Lines is not elegant and I really like the standard XP Separator Lines used.

I tried opening explorer.exe in Resource Hacker and I found this line under:

Menu --> 204 -->MENUITEM "", 65535, MFT_SEPARATOR, MFS_ENABLED.

I think this is to add Separator Lines how ever the menu it displays does not look like the START menu am using.

I guess what I am trying to say here is that I am lost and it would be great if anyone could help me out .....

Thanks for the reply. I am trying to add the a separator line to sort out the start menu and also to better organize the "all programs"

is there any way to resource hack explorer.exe to do this ??
