Add 'Open containing folder' in context menu

I was playing with registry when I discoverd it. Many times I want to open the actual location of the file from the shortcut or link of the file.

To do it just follow the below procedure.

Open registry. Goto to key HKCR -> * . Create a key called 'shell'. Create a key under shell named 'Open containing folder'. And create another key called 'command' under 'Open containing folder'. Modify the default string value of command (see right pane of regedit) to 'explorer.exe .' without quotes.

Now enjoy..... Most of the cases it's also working for startmenu too. i.e. u can goto the actual location of the program by just right cliclking the file in start menu and select 'open containing folder'

Happy registry hacking.....

Warmly, Arnab
