Navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

edit the value shell like explorer.exe, .exe

and

edit the value of Userinit like C:\Windows\system32\userinit.exe, .exe

Go for hkey_local_machine if u want to put satrtup for all users and hkey_current_user for user logged in....
