^^ Seems like there is a virus in your external drive. Please format it, copy a folder to it and then try to change its attribute.

I used KIS/NOD/Panda to scan my usb drive found nothing

you can take backup and format the usb drive. see if the problem persists

somewhere i ve read that this problem happened due to a virus attack ..amvo.exe...  amvo1.dll because i was experiencing same problem . and i searched google then i found out about this amvo.exe  amvo1.dll problem .But i dont know how to remove this virus . Can anyone suggest me ..becoz i m also facing same problem since long.

i checked it with security task manager which is showing 100% risk . How to remove this ?
