Im unable to change file attribute from hidden 

Hi im using win xp sp2! Im unable to change the file attribute from hidden to non hidden!

^^ Can you be more clear about your problem? Are you facing problem while using "Show Hidden files" option in "Folder Options" or are you facing problem in changing a particular file attribute?

if you are talking about a particular file, then you cannot change some attributes of system files. say for eg: ''ntldr''

No say for example oi created a folder and then i cnabged its attributes to hidden it gets applied! then when i change it back yo not hidden and apply nothing happens! This usually happens with my external usb drive
