Thanks for the welcome! :) Been loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong since I've been here!

One imp. thing: Plz ensure that the Sectors is set to 4, otherwise the CD will plain refuse to boot!!!!! Secondly if you wanna make some extra space then you may delete the folder: support, valueadd in the root; and if you don't use east asian lingos (korean, jap and whatnot) and are not gonna use the cd for upgrading from win 95/98/NT then you can delete these folders under i386: winntmig, win9xmig and Lang. That will free about 130MB on the CD to give you more space for your customized content.

Tho nLite does things like these automatically being a power user I prefer things the manual way :)

Thanks all of u

You can also make your bootable XP Disc by using CDimage tools.

·        CDIMAGE GUI is just a frontend for the original CDIMAGE commandline tool. The GUI includes it's own CDIMAGE, so you wont>>

·        need to download it. However if you wish to download just the commandline version, it's listed below.>>

·        The CDIMAGE GUI file you'll be downloading is preconfigured with the recommended switches, so all you'll have to change is the>>

·        directories, volume label, and boot sector path.>>

·        Download: CDIMAGE GUI | CDIMAGE.EXE | boot.img>>

Yes, If you want to slipstream. Better do slipstreaming on a XP machine than on a Vista machine.

But if you want to update your PC with SP3, then XP SP1 or XP Sp2 is required.
