Hi I was lookin through a friends pc the other day and noticed he had alot of program shortcuts in his control panel. Well I asked him how he did it but he was bein rude and wouldnt explain it to me. I was wondering if you know how to do it, and if so could u explain it to me I did manage to get a screenshot of his control panel so you can see what I am talking about. thank you for any help you can give me

looks gr8....well it can be one of two things...either he tweaked system settings himself...or used 3rd party software...

Windows users can easily enable and remove Control Panel icons with the TweakUI program.so try that.hopefully it will work

Thx I'll give TweakUI  a try. Man i love this site ,some really usefull tweaks here. I finally broke down and bought a copy of vista the other day, now im duel bootin gonna go see what kinda tweaks you guys came up with for vista :) . Again thx alot for the tip

EDIT... Oh yea i got a little tweak for every1 still useing xp and wanted to try the vista sidebar. I in no way helped to develope this tweak ( lol i'm not that smart ) so give props where they belong . I also hope it's not against the forum rules to post external links like this. If it is let me know and i'll delete it A.S.A.P. But anyways, you can download the sidebar gadgets right from microsoft and install them like u would if you was useing vista. Hope some1 finds this site informative I sure did . http://www.wincert.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=1442

thx guys. Well tweakui didn't do what i was wantin to do so after doin some googling i came up with this http://softq.org/folder2mypc . The site isn't in english but the prog let's you select whichever language u want. it's freeware and really easy to use .I havent tryed it with vista yet but it says it's compatible. Lol my start menu was really cluttered with programs I didnt use very often but with this I can delete all the entries and just put them in the control panel + in my opinion it makes everything nice and tidy . Hope it is useful to some1 here .
