Hello, everyone.
I have a qutestion about using resource hacker and XP original CD.
I was trying to make some modification in the Original XP CD.
What I was trying to do was:

Change the menu string on the screen that comes up, when I put Original XP CD and pages of screens that related to those, to what i wanted.

For it you'll have to edit "WinNTBBU.dll" file which can be found in "I386" directory.

When I opened that file with Resource Hacker, it gave me some errors for most of strings.
What should I do?

I didnt understand. Please be more specific about the problem and errors. When are you getting the error? After compiling?

Now thats strange. You should not get any error unless you compile the script. Can you pls post a screenshot of the error? Upload the image at http://imageshack.us and post the URL here.

Don't trust on any other version. Download the official Resource Hacker from here.

^^ Of course. I have changed the backgorund, the text, everything in that menu.

You have to edit "WinNTBBU.dll" file which can be found in "I386" folder.

I think that you might have miss understood what I was talkign about.
I wasn't talking about the screen that is installing XP.
I meant the screenshot that i put bottom of these.

^^ ah i c. That menu and resources are stored in "Setup.exe" file but its a compressed EXE file and can't be edit to change all resources.

What you can do is, create your custom Setup.exe file with new buttons, images, text, etc and then place it in the Setup folder. Following software can be used for it:

Thanks for info.
The thing is that I have tried that software.
Only thing is that I could only use trial version, unless I actually buy the full version, which cost me abour like couple of hundreds of dollors, and I'm still a student.
