Want to play games while XP is being setup?

Try this:

During the XP setup, after first restart, maybe after entering product key , in GUI  mode, press shift+F10 to get a command window. now in the command window, you have to type

expand X:\i386\freecell.ex_ C:\

where x: is your CD/DVD drive where you have put your XP CD. Make sure you know the drive letter as it might have changed during setup.

Once this is run, goto C: and run freecell.exe.

Also check for other games and do the same by replacing the last e with _ for expand.

Check if it works for you.

Yep It'll work. Actually "expand" command extract the original EXE file from the compressed EX_ file and then u can easily run the freecell.exe file to start the game. U can do the same for other games and also u can extract notepad, mspaint, etc small files and can use them during the setup.
