Dax Networks, one of the top three networking companies in India, has introduced DX-918ABO-PE, an 802.11a/b/g dual-band wireless access point in the country. The DX-918ABO-PE is apparently perfect for medium and large enterprises, for mobility and easy access to corporate information.

DX-918ABO-PE offers a wide array of external antenna options for extending the radio range and shaping the coverage area.

DX-918ABO-PE’s dual-radio design enables simultaneous support of IEEE 802.11a and 802.11b/g thereby maximizing its capacity to accommodate a large number of users—up to 128 users per band. Both IEEE 802.11a and 802.11g radios support data rates up to 54Mbps.

DX-918ABO-PE features Auto Channel Selection which simplifies access point deployment by testing all available channels and selecting the best channel based on signal-to-noise ratio.
