Exclude blank rows in a Print Range when printing

Hi,

I have a sheet with 200 rows. Some of my clients may only use a few rows and some may use all 200. I would like to know how to prevent Excel from printing several blank pages if a client only uses 10 or 15 or 20 rows. Currently the range is covering all 200 rows. I know this can be done by selecting a new range of cells to print but not all of my clients are techy enough to do this. I want to make it as easy for them as possible.

Thanks!

Re: Exclude blank rows in a Print Range when printing

Hi,

I'm new to this forum & glad to help you.

You can try using filter. Block the range of cell for printing and go to data - filter - filter . you can see a drop down arrow in the first data. click on it and uncheck blank. Go ahead to print the sheet by using selection print range where blank rows are eliminated.

this is one method i found. Vba should do your task vary easy.
